Tis the season of roses. What does it mean by tis the season? “Tis the season” is a festive phrase used to indicate it’s the time of year for celebrations, often referring to winter holiday season. The simple answer is that it is the season, as in, it is the time of the year that is also known broadly as the holiday season and more narrowly as the Christmas season.
But I’m using this for roses, because for me May is the most special month for me to celebrate roses. Osaka prefecture has abundance of rose gardens. Roses in Utsubo Park, Nakanoshima Park, Nagai Botanical garden, Tombo Ike Park (Kishiwada), Rose Garden inside Hamadera Park, and David Austin Rose Garden (Sennan). Just being able to see the beautiful and vibrant roses makes me feel peaceful and happy.
Even around the corner from my house, there is a private home full of roses, which I must call it a rose garden. Enjoy the beauty of this season. Find the best in this city, or in this prefecture. Celebrate this season of roses.
